Fully Insulated Foundations
Since May 2023, NZBC H1 provided some updates to the requirements of insultation in buildings throughout New Zealand. This can incorporate fully insulated slab, or a range of insulation to side and below foundations to meet the needs of the H1 requirements.
There are many different designs and products which can achieve a higher R value all with different costs and finishes, we have explored all with our consultants and would be happy to discuss your options with you.
